Realme 12 Pro: Leaks Reveal Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and Periscope Cameras with Optical Zoom"

Presently, there are indications that the Chinese smartphone brand is preparing to unveil the new Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12  series. Though no official announcement has been made, a Chinese tipster has shared key specifications for the Realme 12, Realme 12 Pro, and Redmi 12 Pro+. These upcoming models are rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and the Realme 12 Pro+ is expected to feature a periscope telephoto sensor with 3X optical zoom.

Realme 12 Pro: Runs Snapdragon 7 Gen 3  

Digital Chat Station, a tipster on Weibo, revealed that the Realme 12 series is set to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. This new mid-range 5G chipset boasts a prime CPU speed of 2.63GHz, complemented by three performance cores with speeds of up to 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

Realme 12 Pro: Have Periscope Cameras with Optical Zoom

Reiterating a previous post, the tipster mentioned that the Realme 12 Pro+ will house a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, offering 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Realme 12 Pro is anticipated to feature a Sony IMX709 sensor with 2x optical zoom. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting additions to the Realme smartphone lineup.

Realme has not confirmed anything yet, but according to rumours, we will see the Realme 12 series around the start of 2024.
